CHF 2'000 for refugee children

Hedi De Zilva-Marxer startet crocheting baby shoes about three years ago.

Out of boredom, as she says, because she was looking for something to do in front of the fireplace on cold winter evenings. More and more "booties" piled up at her home, which eventually gave rise to the interactive art project "BootieFull World": for almost two years, more than 130 pairs of baby finches travelled around the world to set a sign for solidarity and friendship. But with Corona, it became increasingly difficult for the little ambassadors to travel.

Hedi de Zilva-Marxer came up with a new idea: With a flyer, a few baby finches and a lot of motivation and confidence in her luggage, she found ten Liechtenstein shops at the beginning of the year that sold the finches for a good cause. The proceeds went to SOS Children's Village Liechtenstein and Refugee Aid Liechtenstein and will be used to support and care for refugee children!
