Humanitarian Aid Day is on 19 August. A good reason to join in the national day of giving.
The Corona pandemic has worsened the situation of the poorest. More people are dependent on food aid and other support services. The pandemic is also expected to have a negative impact in the longer term: Children miss out on necessary education, vaccinations against childhood diseases are suspended, malaria nets are not malaria nets will not be distributed, and poverty will rise again globally. The Network for Development Cooperation in Liechtenstein wants to show the effects of the Corona pandemic on the different continents, in individual countries and regions.
