Great relief
300 children arrived safely in Romania
Great news: Yesterday Thursday we were able to bring another 300 children to safety and out of the country.
Some of the fled boys and girls are staying in the SOS Children's Village in Hemeiuș, Romania, and some are being housed in rented apartments or alternative accommodation. Another 450 children and their caregivers are still on the way and are expected today by our staff in Poland and Romania. We are also creating space for 50 Ukrainian families in the Austrian SOS Children's Villages. 30 families could already move into their accommodations within a week, 20 more families can follow in the next weeks.
