Women and Leadership in Non-Profit Organizations

The Institute for Association, Foundation and Cooperative Management (VMI) is the competence center for association and NPO management in German-speaking countries.

The VMI is an independent institute of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences of the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. For more than 40 years, they have been engaged in scientific interdisciplinary research on the management of associations and other nonprofit organizations as well as the development of the third sector between market and state in German-speaking countries and in international comparison.

Exciting topics are highlighted in the current VM Magazine: from career skills for women in NGOs to successful gender management to women on boards of diakonia, topics related to female leadership of NGOs are explained.

In addition to the focal points of the content, around 16 women or women's teams have also been captured in pictures - including SOS Children's Village Liechtenstein, which is firmly in female hands!
