Krömleaktion der Oberschule Vaduz zugunsten SOS-Kinderdorf Liechtenstein
Fundraising campaign of the secondary school Vaduz

Young people collect money for water pumps

Class 2b of the Oberschule Vaduz decided to support a fundraising campaign for disadvantaged families in Niger.

The originally planned action to sell waffles at the Christmas market in Schaan had to be cancelled. However, the motivation of the young people was undiminished to support children and families in Niger with water pumps for easier irrigation of the fields.
So the students thought about how they could still help. They decided to bake Krömle and sell them for the benefit of the family strengthening program in Niger.

Carola Büchel (SOS Children's Village) visited the class in the run-up to the campaign and showed them how SOS Children's Village aid works. The interested young people asked many questions about everyday life, education and the living conditions of children living in poverty, giving them an insight into the work of the children's aid organization.
The Krömle will be sold to relatives and acquaintances in the next few days.
