Christmas ornaments, angels, stars, and festive decorations that are no longer needed are given a second life at “Baum mit Herz.” Individuals and businesses donate their Christmas decorations in good condition, which are then collected, refurbished, and sold by dedicated volunteers. The proceeds benefit social organizations in Liechtenstein. At the opening of the new store in Vaduz, a total of CHF 16,000 from last year’s proceeds was presented to four nonprofit organizations. In addition to SOS Children’s Villages Liechtenstein, the FamilienRaum Eschen association, the Liachtbleck Foundation, and the Liechtenstein Hospice Movement each received CHF 4,000.“A tree needs strong roots; a child needs support and a sense of security,” said our executive director, Magdalena Frommelt, during the donation ceremony. This support helps us accompany and empower children, young people, and families in Liechtenstein who are facing difficult life situations.Behind “Baum mit Herz” are numerous volunteers who contribute hundreds of hours each year. Since the project’s founding in 2013, approximately CHF 180,000 has been donated to social institutions in Liechtenstein. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Peter Goop, Patricia Gratzer, and everyone involved for their tremendous dedication and valuable support! 💚
