CHF 7,600 for children and families in The Gambia

Over the course of three days, the carolers went from house to house, bringing Christ’s blessing to the homes of the community. They were warmly welcomed by the residents. Thanks to the generous donations, CHF 7,600 was raised.

The funds raised will support children’s villages, daycare centers, schools, medical centers, and vocational training centers in The Gambia. This provides children and families with long-term prospects and access to education, care, and medical services.

This outstanding result would not have been possible without the dedication of the students and their chaperones. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the municipality of Ruggell, the Ruggell Elementary School, and the 5th-grade teachers for their valuable collaboration.

We also thank all the volunteers, the parish council, Chef Josef Mali, the Frohsinn Ruggell Music Association, and everyone else involved who made this successful campaign possible.
