Hope and support for children in Gaza

The food situation in Gaza remains critical: supplies are scarce and access to food is severely restricted due to border closures. While the hunger crisis continues, everyday life in the SOS emergency camp in Khan Younis goes on as best it can.

Due to the dangerous situation in Khan Younis, the SOS Children's Village camp cannot be left. The local team continues to provide psychosocial support within the camp's security zone. There are group counseling sessions for mothers, girls and children to help them cope with the emotional stress.

Six classrooms in the camp have also been fully equipped and furnished to ensure the independence of the school service. More than 500 children in Gaza have been reached by the SOS Children's Villages education program so far.
