Support mother-child program

LittleMudRun: Obstacle course association and Back Frick donate CHF 5,000

Mud, motivation and compassion: 500 children braved the wind and weather at the LittleMudRun 2024 - and not only crossed the finish line, but also ran for a good cause!

Last September, 500 children between the ages of 6 and 13 took part in the LittleMudRun 2024, the fun run for children as part of the Bank Frick LieMudRun. In adverse weather conditions, the young runners tackled a challenging course with age-appropriate obstacles. The joy and enthusiasm at the finish line was just as great as that of the adults.

However, the run was not only a highlight for the youngsters, but also a great fundraiser: for every participating child, the "Obstacle Run Liechtenstein" association donated five francs to the SOS Children's Village Liechtenstein. Bank Frick, the event's main sponsor, doubled this amount, raising an impressive 5,000 francs in total.

Support for the mother-child program

The generous donation will directly benefit the mother-child program of the SOS Children's Village. This important program supports babies and toddlers of mothers suffering from postpartum depression. It covers the costs of the child's stay at the clinic so that mother and child do not have to be separated during this sensitive phase.

"We are delighted that our sporting event is also doing good. Social and ecological sustainability are particularly important to us," says Sandra Wögerer, President of the Obstacle Course Association. Maike Hilti from the SOS Children's Village Liechtenstein adds: "The mother-child program allows mothers to recharge their batteries, regain confidence and trust. This makes a lasting contribution to the mental health of mothers and their children."
