At the "Run for Change - Every meter counts" event organized by the formatio private school in Liechtenstein, pupils ran with impressive stamina and a big heart in aid of SOS Children's Villages - sending out a strong signal for peace, compassion and solidarity.
Despite the oppressive heat and rain showers, the young runners tirelessly completed lap after lap - with a clear goal: to help children and families in need in Palestine/Israel and Ukraine. The result speaks for itself: a total of 518 laps or 621.6 kilometers were completed, raising an incredible CHF 6,000 in donations.
This donation makes a real difference. It enables concrete support for children suffering from the consequences of violence, flight and insecurity in crisis areas - and strengthens the protection of children's rights (UN CRC, Art. 38).
We would like to sincerely thank all the dedicated runners, their sponsors, the student organization team, their teacher Franziska Renger, the entire team of the formatio private school and Maike Hilti from SOS Children's Villages Liechtenstein. Your commitment brings hope where it is needed most.
