Syrian children need help

"Need is still huge"

SOS Children's Villages is on the ground in Syria with an emergency team. Our emergency coordinator Julian Erjautz talks about the situation.

SOS Children's Villages' emergency aid specifically supports children and families who have lost everything. In total, we want to reach 25,000 people in and around Aleppo with the following relief measures:

  • Supporting the evacuation of children and families.

  • Providing emergency shelter for homeless families

  • Provision of food and hygiene items as well as financial support

  • Emergency psychological assistance

  • Care for children in child protection centers

Beyond emergency relief, we will help families and affected communities start over by providing access to health care, education, and support through income-generating trainings.
