Teddy bears with children's rights poster: protection in armed conflicts
30th anniversary

We bring children's rights to life in Liechtenstein

The campaign, which will run for several months, aims to make children's rights visible and tangible and raise awareness of child protection.

Liechtenstein adopted the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child in Parliament on October 31, 1995. With the approval of the Prince, it was ratified on December 22, 1995. In 2025, Liechtenstein will celebrate the 30th anniversary of this important milestone.

Finn & Fina as ambassadors

At the center of the campaign are the two teddy bear siblings Finn & Fina. They are the loving faces of the initiative and bring the topic of children's rights into the here and now. They can be purchased as donation bears on our website. Every purchase supports children in need and strengthens children's rights.

Seven videos - seven rights

The campaign presents seven video stories, each highlighting a child's right. Using specific SOS programs around the world, we show what children's rights mean in everyday life - from protection in crisis regions to education and leisure. The videos can be viewed on our social media channels until the end of the year.

Why it is important to us

"Children's rights must not just be written on paper - they must be lived," emphasizes Magdalena Frommelt, Managing Director of SOS Children's Villages Liechtenstein. "With these stories, we show what children's rights mean in real life. Finn & Fina give children a voice and make their rights visible."
